It's all happening so fast!!

So, A LOT has happened lately. I'm still in Arizona with Cody and we're having so much fun getting to spend time together. It's been really nice. We have also made a huge decision lately. We've decided to get married June 20, 2009!!! I am absolutely beyond excited!! It has been crazy and a little stressful planning everything, but we've gotten a lot done! Yesterday, we went to Tucson, AZ and bought my wedding dress, our wedding bands, reception outfits, and Cody's groomsmen presents. We are a little nervous about all the money we spent, but it'll all work out! Planning a wedding is VERY expensive though...

I LLLLOOOOOVVVVEEE my dress though!! It was our first thing we bought yesterday, and I'm so glad Cody and I got to experience it together! I know, he's not supposed to see the dress, let alone me in the dress till I walk down the aisle, but it was so special to see the look on his face when I put on "the one". We both knew from the second I walked out of the dressing room that it was the one. Words just cannot express what that moment was like. Knowing that he loved it was all I needed. Others may not like what we picked, but we love it and that's all that matters.

I'm already losing sleep over the excitement of the wedding!! My mind is just racing and I can't stop thinking about it!! Well, it's coming up, and I can't wait to see everyone!! Love you all!

Finals and then some

So, it's finals week. I haven't had even my first test yet, and I'm already ready for this week to be over!! I'm super stressed about 2 of my tests, but I don't want to study for them at all!! My first test is tomorrow, Pre-cal at 8 AM, and then my second is, Education at 1 PM. Pre-cal is the only one I'm really all that worried about for tomorrow. Probably gonna pull an all-nighter like I did for my last pre-cal exam. I made a 90 on that one, so obviously it worked. And then the one test I'm SUPER worried about and is the make-it or break-it for passing the class is my history final. That one is on Wednesday at 6 PM. And then my last test is on Thursday. My ethics test; yep, it was the most pointless class I've ever taken. Our final is an essay-I hate writing essays. Hopefully I'll look over it and write an outline or at least something to it makes it a lot easier. By that time, I'm just gonna want to be done. Hopefully I won't blow it.

But.... after I'm done with my tests, I GET TO GO TO ARIZONA!!!! I'm soooo excited because I get to spend a month and a half with Cody all to myself!! It will be the longest Cody and I have been actually together since we've been dating/engaged. I know we'll get on each others nerves at times, but I'm just excited to actually exist together as a couple and have a somewhat normal relationship for a little bit. The one unfortunate thing that will come out of it is that we will get used to spending so much time together, that when it comes time for him to leave in July for a year, it's going to be very hard to say goodbye. It's going to be like something is missing. He definitely makes me the person I am today. He makes me whole. But soon after he gets back, we are getting married! Definitely the soon-to-be happiest day of my life.

Wedding Planning

I got to try on wedding dresses!!! :D

I went to David's Bridal and Belle's Bridal in Abilene yesterday and tried on the most gorgeous dresses I have ever seen! I went to Belle's first and all of the dresses there were designer dresses. I had on $2000 and loved it! At David's Bridal, the dresses were a lot more practical because they were under $1000, but they weren't any less gorgeous!! My cousin Peyton got to go with me and we had sooo much fun! She might have gotten bored at some points, but she was VERY helpful! She got to try on bridesmaid dresses at David's and they all looked so pretty on her! I still have no idea the exact wedding dress or bridesmaid dresses, but definitely a better idea!

With other wedding planning stuff, Cody has gotten so excited about helping with things. :) I love him! At first he just said, "I don't care, I want whatever you want". But, now, he's actually giving me his opinion, actually interested when I talk about stuff, etc. He even bought wedding books and magazines!! I haven't even done that! LOL. He is the best fiance ever! We've been having a lot of fun planning everything though. We are hoping to get a lot of the planning done while I'm in Arizona with him during next month and June.

Anyway, my wedding is a year and 3 months away, but I'm still so excited! I'm sure by the time it gets close to the actual date, I'm gonna be completely wedding'ed out!

College Station

Came to College Station for the weekend!! Rode up here with Kensie and Marissa, and we're visiting and staying with Allison. It was a loooooong drive, but it's been A LOT of fun! We got here last night and went out to dinner and then came back to Allison's house and just caught up on everything that's going on with each other. Went to bed pretty late, slept in this morning, and then went shopping all day!

Such a good girls' weekend!
